“Try us and get Hooked”.. I think should be posted as a warning rather than a enticement!! I came to Eagle Charters for the first time 10 years ago for a ‘once in a lifetime trip’ and I’ve been back every year since. I definitely am hooked. Last year I brought my wife and it seems the same true for her.. We both can’t wait to visit again this year…

Look forward to seeing you all again.

I visited Eagle Charters two summers ago, and I had the time of my life! I was 11 at the time, and I was treated just as well as an adult would. The captains and deckhands are so nice! The food is really good and the rooms are comfy and welcoming. The fishing is so much fun with Eagle Charters. The black bass fishing is the easiest, and the most fun. The Halibut and salmon fishing is really what its all about though. Its so much fun to fight with the fish, and there’s always the hope of catching “the big one”. I will definitely be going back to fish again this year!

I visited three years ago and had a great time. I have been plotting a trip back this next summer, and trying to get the bosses approval — maybe soon. I really look forward to being able to go…

P Lamb, Thanks for the comments, if it has been three years you will be surprised when you come back up this year. We have really improved a lot of things and made it even a better place. Come check us out, good luck getting approval from your boss.

    Hi Joe, Marilyn and Staff,

Here it is December and I am already making plans for my 4th trip with Eagle Charters. I guess you can say I tried it and got hooked after many years of fishing on other charters throughout the Inside Passage from Juneau to Icy Straits. I know when I fish with you guys that I am going to limit out every day and come back to the Lodge to a first class supper and camaraderie with the diverse group of your guests. Keep your line tight.

Oops–got my name spelled right this time!!!

To put it as simple as I can, it’s a piece of heaven. Every person should take the opportunity , sometime in their life, to see Alaska, and Eagle Charters and CrossSound Lodge is definately the place to go. Totally awesome, not only the fishing but the beauty is breathtaking as well. Thank You, Joe and Marilyn and God bless you. Tom Steinhauser

Eagle Charters was a wonderful change from the fishing we have done all over the world. The boats and captains were fun and and very capable, we caught everything that tapped our hooks. The lodge, the food was all first class. Joe, you have a great operation there and we have already booked our next trip and are spreading the word to go get hooked with Eagle Charters.

If you like the outdoors and fishing, this is the place for you! I had such a good time, catching halibut 2 by 2, sea bass fishing all you had to do is drop your line and you got one, salmon fishing; it was the best time I have ever had! There is always a fish to catch, no matter how the weather is, you def. will get hooked! But it is not just about the fishing, the wildlife is amazing, from bears to eagles to whales, plus the views are picture perfect! The lodging is comfy and really makes you feel like you are at home. OH, and the food is the best I have ever had! Trust me this is a great place to bring the family. Everyone there treats you just like you are part of the family! and the guides are awesome, plus if you are like me and get sea sick, they will bring you to clamer water and you will STILL catch fish, Plus the meds helped to… but there was always a fish to catch! I will def. be coming back! I hope to see all of you soon! And THANK YOU AGAIN!!

If you love hot fishing action, incredible scenery, excellent accomodations and great food, you NEED to come to Cross Sound Lodge. Tom & Nova and the rest of their staff and fishing crews are all awesome! Just returned from a 4 day fishing trip and my expectations were exceeded on every level! I’m still on an adrenaline high from this trip! You can’t go wrong picking these folks to stay and fish with!

    Hi, Joe–and everyone

We were your very happy guests last month, hosted by our son John and joined by our other son, Pat and grandson Patrick. I just wanted to tell you what a wonderful time we had there, and how special each of your “crew” was!! They all made us feel so comfortable, and welcome—and provided such a personal touch to everything. Your lodge is beautiful and completely comfortable for guests. Thank you so much for a marvelous time!

Of course, we’ve been cooking and enjoying all our wonderful fish–and I wanted to ask about Rose’s great recipe for the Sweet and Sour Halibut that she served our fist night there. The recipe that is on your website is for a battered and fried fish….I think the halibut we had was not fried, but had been cooked in the oven. Is there another sweet and sour recipe?

I tried earlier to send this message including several pictures we took while there—-but the email wouldn’t go through because the file was too large—so, you probably don’t need anymore pictures of happy adults and children catching fish, anyway! We hope you’re staying busy with lots of guests–and super fishing!
Thanks again for everything—wish we could come see you every year.

    Liz and Jack Pearce
