I just wanted to tell you what a wonderful time we had there, and how special each of your "crew" was!! They all made us feel so comfortable, and welcome---and provided such a personal touch to everything. Your lodge is beautiful and completely comfortable for guests. Thank you so much for a marvelous time! Of course, we've been cooking and enjoying all our wonderful fish--and I wanted to ask about Rose's great recipe for the Sweet and Sour Halibut that she served our fist night there. The recipe that is on your website is for a battered and fried fish....I think the halibut we had was not fried, but had been cooked in the oven. Is there another sweet and sour recipe? I tried earlier to send this message including several pictures we took while there----but the email wouldn't go through because the file was too large---so, you probably don't need anymore pictures of happy adults and children catching fish, anyway! Tom & Nova and the rest of their staff and fishing crews are all awesome! Just returned from a 4 day fishing trip and my expectations were exceeded on every level! I'm still on an adrenaline high from this trip! You can't go wrong picking these folks to stay and fish with! I had such a good time, catching halibut 2 by 2, sea bass fishing all you had to do is drop your line and you got one, salmon fishing; it was the best time I have ever had! There is always a fish to catch, no matter how the weather is, you def. will get hooked! But it is not just about the fishing, the wildlife is amazing, from bears to eagles to whales, plus the views are picture perfect! The lodging is comfy and really makes you feel like you are at home. OH, and the food is the best I have ever had! Trust me this is a great place to bring the family. Everyone there treats you just like you are part of the family! and the guides are awesome, plus if you are like me and get sea sick, they will bring you to clamer water and you will STILL catch fish, Plus the meds helped to... but there was always a fish to catch!
